I love building things that matter and sharing interesting stories about history, power and tech.Right now, I am working on two. With Civiquant, I create AI tools and insights to help businesses and organizations make sense of global political changes and reduce its impact on them. The second is Nirosense, focused on understanding the brain better and creating intelligent tools to help my sister, who has autism, and others like her.I love to laugh and have fun with people, learn about things I don’t know, go outside and explore the world, and be silly and live in the moment. Jazz, hip hop, tamil folk and carnatic inspires me, as do movies, cricket, art and sci-fi.My roots are in Sri Lanka, but am currently in Canada. I have a background in public policy and electronics engineering, having studied at Cambridge and LSE.
